This growing niche employment practice is looking to appoint a further assistant solicitor to bolster the existing team. The flow of work is such that a following is not required but of course any contacts that you may have which can be exploited will be most welcome.
You will undertake a varied and interesting range of cases providing advice to clients, employers and employees, on all aspects of employment law, i.e. Compromise Agreements; Constructive Dismissal; Disability; Disciplinary & Grievance; Discrimination & Harassment; Maternity, Paternity & Adoption Policies; Redundancy & TUPE; Unfair Dismissal and Whistle Blowing
Ideally you will have advocacy experience before the Employment Tribunal.
You will be encouraged to take a very active role in business development initiatives and the firm has assigned a generous budget in this regard.
Employment being one of those practice areas that is more recession proof this is a great opportunity to make your mark in a firm which is not going to be squeezed by the drain on areas that are less robust.
