The flow of work in our clients Commercial and Technology group demands the appointment of a further assistant solicitor. The successful candidate will have experience in at least one but preferably more than one of the following: * Software & computers * Information & Communications Technology * Media & publishing * Franchising & distribution * Advertising and marketing * Training, recruitment & employment * Medical devices, healthcare & pharma The role is very much client facing and you be expected to give proactive business advice as well as legal advise on projects such as IT infrastructure deployment, Software development & implementation, Technology transfer, outsourcing agreements; new media and publishing content and systems. The caseload also includes the drafting & negotiating of bespoke commercial agreements including strategies for route to market such as agency and distribution arrangements, as well as franchising. The team handles the protection, management and commercial exploitation of all types of intellectual property.
