This is a rare opportunity to join a cutting edge niche practice specialising in fertility law practice. The primarily non contentious caseload will involve advising clients from all over the UK on the legal issues arising from assisted reproduction, including acquiring joint parental rights for same sex couples, advising on surrogacy arrangements, advising on conceptions involving known egg/ sperm donors and co-parents, and advising on the import/ export and storage of gametes and embryos.

This is a junior role with no prior experience in this area being necessary. As such you will receive excellent training and support. Nonetheless the role is client facing (initially under supervision but moving towards independent client handling) as well as being involved in drafting client documents (including wills, surrogacy agreements and known sperm donor agreements), research, and responding to new enquiries. You will also be encouraged to take an active role in business development initiatives, e.g. giving advice on online forums, attending events and assisting with the principal's work with clinics, patient organisations and the media.
