A superb opportunity has arisen for a junior lawyer to join this highly reputed team. The group has its own client base ranging from financial services and manufacturing to charities and individuals but also works closely with the firm's corporate, tax, regulatory and pensions lawyers . You will receive excellent ongoing support and training from the lead partners in the department who are noted experts in this field. There is a heavy emphasis on client contact and you will also be encouraged to take an active role in the department's business development initiatives. The caseload is a mix of contentious and non contentious matters and the firm advises predominantly employers but also employees. Specifically you will be advising on: - Recruitment - Retention - Dismissal - Restructuring - Discrimination claims - Whistle blowing - Compliance with European law - Employee benefits - Share incentive structures - Implementation of effective and tax efficient compensation and severance arrangements - Restrictive covenants - Contracts and termination packages You will be given the autonomy to manage your own caseload as well as working closely with the lead partners on more complex matters.
