This is no back room role. The successful candidate will enjoy a position which is very much client facing and which will require him or her to take a very active role in the departments business development initiatives, including wining and dining clients, and the organisation and participation in seminars.
You will have sound technical knowledge if insolvency, commercial dispute resolution and corporate and commercial law and practice. You will be required to advise on bringing and defending 'claw back' claims brought by Insolvency Practitioners including advice on recovery of assets or money due to a company, allegations of breach of director's duties, claims arising from preferences and transactions at an undervalue and wrongful trading.. If you have an understanding of business finance and accounting in addition to this, all the better.
Equally important is the ability to work as a team player on larger cases but you will of course be given the autonomy to manage your own caseload.
This is a great opportunity to buck the current depressing trend and carve out excellent career prospects at a firm which is as committed to its staff as it is to its clients and is already reaping the rewards.
