The caseload entails the handling of ip/it/commercial matters and advising on internet, website and e-business issues, software licensing, hardware system supply, trademark/copyright/patent licensing and assignment, escrow arrangements, distribution, agency agreements, terms of sale and purchase, basic competition law issues.

In addition a knowledge of or a willingness to undertake project work (primarily in the public sector, but also private sector outsourcing).

The client base is typically large corporates; owner-managed businesses; start ups; local authorities, educational and other public bodies.

Far from being a back room role, you will be encouraged to make an active contribution to marketing initiatives.
