			<title>Pensions &#45; All levels &#45; Part time considered</title>
			<link>http://www.js-legal.co.uk/jobs/pensions__all_levels__part_time_considered</link>
			<description>This full service practice has gone from strength to strength and has impressive new offices in both London and Reading. Its pensions practice is consistently top rated by the independent directories and it is looking to bolster the team so as to build on its success. Pensions lawyers of all levels of PQE are welcome to apply. If you are more junior you will benefit from excellent ongoing training and support and more senior candidates will be offered a clear track to the firm&#39;s highly profitable partnership with no following being required as there is plenty of work to be tapped.

The team acts as legal advisers to employers and trustees of a variety of pension schemes ranging from small executive pension arrangements up to large company schemes with assets of more than &#163;100 million. They also advise liquidators, receivers and trustees in bankruptcy on their rights and obligations with regard to company and personal pension schemes.

The team regularly advises on:

    * Compliance with new legislation and other regulations
    * Trustees&#39; duties regarding investment or exercising their discretion
    * Winding-up and scheme restructuring
    * Merger of pension schemes
    * Conversion of schemes to money purchase (defined contribution)
    * Reviewing pensions contracts e.g. between trustees and fund managers or administrators

The team also advises on contentious matters ranging from multi-million pound claims involving several parties and several jurisdictions to small contractual disputes.
They act for trustees, employers and scheme members in litigation before the Courts, complaints to the Pensions Ombudsman, and investigations by OPRA, the Occupational Pensions Regulatory Authority.

The quality of work is second to none and the atmosphere is supportive and collegiate. A highly competitive remuneration package is on offer. The practice has an excellent reputation for the importance it places on the need for a work life balance and the opportunity to work part time is on offer such is the size of the existing team. </description>
